Kite festival in Berkeley

Brian is in his sailing class right now. We’re staying on our boat tonight so I spent the day folding sails and cleaning up around Sizzle. It’s fun staying on the boat and we both enjoy it a lot. I also got to shoot the shit and pick the brain of my rigger Ben about this and that future project or mod to the boat.
I rode my bike over to the other side of the marina where the annual Berkeley kite festival is in full swing! There are big kites, small kites, trick kites and simple kites. Lots of kids too. Really neat event!
As you can see it’s also am amazing warm and sunny day on the Bay! I’m in shorts and a polo feeling a nice cool breeze from the water. I love this place.
